Need help with M8 HCR

We have a 2009 M8 HCR. It runs great when you are working it hard, but as soon as you ease off and take a slow ride through the the woods or slow ride on a trail the sled bogs down and then eventually dies. You can pull and pull and pull and it won't start. If you wait about 5 minutes it will start for about 2 seconds then dies again. If you wait about 15-20 minutes it will eventually start and run as if nothing happened. I tried trading out the ECU with another 2009 M8 but that didn't help. Today we took it for a spin and in the first 5 minutes of riding it quit. I tried finding a loose wire, I tried opening the gas cover and let it breathe. Not sure what to do next.
Any ideas ?
All suggestions are much appreciated !!!!
THANKS !!

All it has for mods is a "straight line" pipe. The ECU has had a different code flashed into it but that was over a year ago. That was the main reason why I traded a ECU with another 09 M8.
Thanks !

Sounds like a fuel problem. I am asuming you check for spark when this happens? If there is a blockage in the fuel line or some debris floating around it may be restricing flow and cause an issue like this.
