Need help with boondocker fuel controller

I have an 2009 dragon with a 163, and a slp stage 2 kit and a boondocker fuel controller. i need some info on what i should use for gauges (egt or air/fuel). Also some advice on how to use the boondocker, i havent installed it yet but i have already bought it. Is there anyone out there using this setup and how does it work? I have never used a fuel controller and need help with my starting point i have no idea what to look for. The instruction i have are good but need one on one help. Also i would like to set up for elevation of about 2000-8000 feet. Thanks guys
