Need help with a code

[Going West]

I have a buddy with a 2012 800 and he is having a code that keeps coming up.

The code is DE 7 and it shuts the sled down. But will restart no problem.

I think its going to be under faliure mode indicator-throttle rlease signal, throttle stuck. According to my 2011 instrument cluster paperwork.

Are you sure it isn't " DET" detonation sensor going off and putting the sled in limp mode, but, yes, cleared when the sled is shut off and started again?

What r's is he turning when the code comes up?
