Need help to catch a thief at Rabbit Ears.

Buddy of mine stuck his sled at rabbit ears about a week ago and had to have search and rescue get him and his friend out, we went up sunday to retrieve (6 hrs of digging) his sled and when we dug it out some scum bag stole his Simmons skis, billet pull handle, K&N filters, gold finger left throttle and his twin pipes. The pipes are HTG twins (polaris 700 PV) that have no silencer just a straight pipe, his pull handle has "YANK ME" milled into it and his skis were black and purple with with blue loops. If anyone has any info please shoot me a PM. thanks..

what a bunch of fugg wads..

I really hope you find them.. and institute a little of your own justice.. although they probably have hauck'd them already

thats such a drag..... You would think people would respect the disposition the sled and owner where obviously left with.

if you find out... post their name and local- I promise Ill just send them a card:devil:

check all local classified> swapmeets ect...

Mother fuggers! I hate freakin theives. I had a 03 CR 250 stolen out of the back of my pick up in Pueblo after a race a couple years ago. It's such a pissed off helpless feeling. Good luck I hope you find them and lay down a BIG ARSE WHOOPIN.

That sucks! I remember seeing your crew at Dumont yesterday when I hauled out Rotax's sled. Glad we didn't leave it there til next weekend now.

scumbags

last year I was returning to muddy creek lot kinda late in the day by myself and I see a white, unmarked box truck, like a furniture delivery truck, maybe 12-14 feet, cruising around the lot, obviously checking out the rigs that were parked there, they swung around behind some trucks and made an exit before I thought to get the plate number, they definately were not there to ride or use the frozen toilet, I was returning from a ride, all happy and unsuspecting but as they were leaving I realized what they were looking to do....so sledders beware.

Azzholes, that's the worse way to find a sled, stripped out. I don't like leaving anything out like that, always gotta go get it asap, take time off work next time, just a thought. There's no respect anymore in today's world, besides the majority of us on here. ;)

Sorry to hear you got ripped off.Unfortunately I don't trust anyone anymore, there are too many dirtbag/sc**bags out there who want to ripoff the good people. In the lot lockup your cover/oil and lockdown crank.Watch out for sketchy people and note their plate #.I know you said that the sled was broke down and not in the lot ,but if we all watch out for each other maybe we can get one more sc**bag in the crowbar motel.

I can't believe that nobody saw some fugger hauling all of this stuff out. He had to have a tow sled or something. To move all that stuff you would need help or a sled.

Always lock your trailer and truck! And ALWAYS lock down your trailer to your hitch and ALWAYS lock your hitch to your truck!

I'll keep my eye out! To the top!

Hope you filed a police report so they can check the local pawn shops. Also keep an eye on e-bay. Seen lots of guys parting out whole sleds there. (probably stolen). When you catch them give them a good whack for all of us.
