Hey all,

I just installed a Pcv on my 09 dragon 800 155. It already had the a map on it from Jim. I wanted to make sure the tps was linked to the Pcv. So I read the instructions I started the sled it showed throttle at 100% at idle but when I hit he grottos be tps bar went up. It was at 25% at idle on the status bar that's green. Help would be great!!!

Thanks

It's been a while since I did mine, but I recall you need to get the PC in the set-up mode, sled running at idle, then get the PC to "ACCEPT" that 0 %.

Then do that for 100% , blip the sled to full throttle (either on the track stand or via 12 volts plugged into the 2/3 prong plug in the wire harness by the hood hinge area) then get it to "ACCEPT" that reading.

Hope this helps

Did you sync the pcv and tps yet?

I Installed the software on my laptop and went to throttle calibration and warned the sled up on idle. Shut the sled off and hit reset on the software I installed. Then I started it up and it show on the little green bar throttle at 25% ruffly at idle.. I didn't do anything a full throttle.. When I burped the throttle when it was rung after I reset it it show the green bar in the throttle setup jumping up. Then go back down to about 25% at idle. When I shut the sled off it dropped back to 0 on the green bar I think cuZ no power to it because sled wasnt running.

for the 0% setting, the sled should be running at idle, or the sled should have the 12V power at the connector with the sled off, then the reset hit, as Kraven mentioned.
then for the 100%, either run the sled up to full throttle on a track stand, or use the 12V connector, and push the throttle to WOT.
at that point, there should be the voltage readings for the throttle position, and hit accept.
hopefully that does it!

Its' easier to do with the 12 volt hook-up, I.M.O., Not in love with the FULL THROTTLE on the stand with no load on it. That way you can run through the process a couple of times and become familiar with it. I'm not to good at reading the instructions alone, need to walk through the process myself before it makes sense to me.

i feel the same regarding the full-throttle-blip-on-track-stand thing as well. 12V hook-up, much easier and safer.
it did make for a good video though, with the wife standing well clear on the front porch, and the sled ready for take-off into the side of the house!!

LOL,
Had that happen to my Go-Kart when I was 12, ended up in the neighbor's garage door

was trying to mitigate the destruction and keep it to personal property.

hella smoke show and the neighbours were on red alert for the red rocket into their idiot neighbours house! :face-icon-small-hap

My PCV would not sync on with the 12v hook up, I had to have the sled running. I had my sled up on my lift and just blip the throttle wide open and I was all set. The sled was semi-cold (about 5 min of idle) so it was not great for the plugs but you only need to see the meter go to 100%

Ok so start the sled hit reset while it its running while at idle? Then hit the throttle to 100% while running and there is a button and make sure their is voltage to the tps and there is a accept button to set the voltage the to Pcv?

With sled running, warmed up, and idleing, hit reset. Then if I remember right you will be prompted on the screen to go to wot. It don't take long to see 100%. Then I think you have to click ok once back to idle, and you should be set. Make sure your sled won't come off the track stand.

YES, correct, approx 2-3 seconds @ W.F.O.

Mine didn't accept it the first time, had to repeat the process, and it "accepted it" the 2nd attempt

I tried several times to set mine with 12v power and the PCV software would not read the TPS. Once started the sled I was fine.

With the sled @ idle hit the reset on the software, the meter sould read zero then "blip" the throttle wide open and you should read 100%. It should only take a second to read the results.

yes run the sled up the temp. with the sled running hit the reset button. Now blip the throttle to WOT. Let off back to idle. hit accept and it should be synched.

So i installed my pcv today, i had a reading of zero on the tps then hit wide open and saw it read 100 percent, then back to idle it said zero again so i clicked ok. Is that it or how do i know it accpeted the 100 percent reading?
