Need help setting up 08 Nytro suspension

I installed a 08 Nytro MTN. skid in my old wedge chassis. I've never been around these skids much. It's the 153. After I installed it, I have about three inches of sag. If I push down on the rear of the sled the susp. goes down and does not rebound. The front shock is in the highest position and I have the rear springs in the H slot. Are the Yamahas always this soft or Am I missing something. The limiter strap is all the way out. I dropped a 670 Rotax in this chassis and thought I'd try a Yamy susp. No Arctic Cat parts yet. A little help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Huh??? I just put the same skid under a Mountain max and I haven't lowered it to the floor yet to see how much sag it has. The skid had all the settings maxed out when I bought it but, I loosened them up a bit for my 150 lb son.

Have you ridden the sled with the skid yet?

I have a take off nytro skid in my shop if someone wants it. It also is a saggy bottom unit. Suck the strap up full tight and stiffen the spring fully. That is the best I got mine.

Frostbite; No I haven't been on the snow yet. I'm hoping it will be okay. I moved the skid back in my tunnel to fit the 156 and now have extra weight way back now. I hope I didn't screw up on buying this skid. They are a dime a dozen around here. I guess a man shouldn't buy sh!!!t when he's had five Pendleton and cokes. I didn't realize they were that heavy and that soft. Good luck with your sons. I think they are a good trail skid but I based my sled around powder riding.

I solved my problem. Went to the shop and jerked the skid. I could hardly pick the back end up to put it on the stand. Can't imagine getting stuck and trying to move the azz end around. I now have a 08 Nytro skid for sale cheap.

rear shock & springs are the problem .dealer told me it is a problem but yamaha says it is standard after break in.i can get warranty, but it will happen again.the apex rear spring are suppost to work and are heavier plus can use the shock from a apex. but check with your dealer
