Need help quick please

We are headed out tonight for 4 days of riding. I just got a new summit 1000 but only have 1 good belt. Locally I cannot find a doo or exact match generic belt but one of the dealers crossed it over to a Cat belt part 036 that is 1/8" narrower but identical length.

Can I run this thing will it last more than 10 minutes and can it do any damage. Sorry for the rush but I have to get this by noon.

As far as I know you would not be able to use it being that it is a diff width because your deflection has to be set for the clutch to work properly. just my .02. Where are you going, most of the time there is some where on the way or where you are going that has belts, might pay a little more but it would get you going again

if its easy to set deflection then take the cat belt as backup..should be ok if ya can take up the 1/8 with deflection adj..
