Need Help Posting Pics

D

Disco Dan Richter

Well-known member
I am wondering, if I email some pics of stuff I have for sale, if anyone would be kind enough to post them in the proper section of swap meet for me? I would really appreciate it!
If you will, please send me PM with your email.

just do it yourself

go to photobucket and get an account, very easy.

next download the pictures into photobucket pretty simple right in the middle of the screen in big letters it says "Upload images and video" right below it in a blue box it says "Choose files". click on this and choose the files/s you want to upload. and click open. it will take a minute but you picture will download, then there will be a blue box that says save and continue click it and it will take you back to the first screen, now your picture will apear below in a small thumbnail. when your mouse is over it options will appear below it go to the IMG one and highlight and copy the whole IMG line. Its easy if you use "control C" for copy and Control X for paste.

then at the top of this box where you type there is a yellow box, when your mouse is over it it says "insert Image' click that and past the IMG line from photobucket

done!

A few other hints in Blue just do it yourself

go to photobucket and get an account, very easy.

next download the pictures into photobucket pretty simple right in the middle of the screen in big letters it says "Upload images and video" right below it in a blue box it says "Choose files". click on this and choose the files/s you want to upload by holding down the Ctrl key you can choose multiple images, you will also want to reduce your pics to 640x480 Large to look like the one below, this option is right below the upload window and click open. it will take a minute but you picture will download, then there will be a blue box that says save and continue click it and it will take you back to the first screen, now your picture will apear below in a small thumbnail. when your mouse is over it options will appear below it go to the IMG one and highlight and copy the whole IMG line. You can also select the "Link Options" button below the first picture. In this window you can click the box to choose the ones you want. I use Share by email & IM use this to attach pics to email & IM as listed, HTML for websites & blogs, and IMG for bulletin boards & forums Use this one for your posts on Snowest. Simply click IMG Code below the pic, this will highlight it to be copied by hitting Ctrl C. If you choose these they will always appear below each picture so you canclick them to copy. Its easy if you use "control C" for copy and Control X I think this should be Ctrl V for paste Ctrl X is to cut the text.

then at the top of this box where you type there is a yellow box, when your mouse is over it it says "insert Image' click that and past the IMG line from photobucket You can actually put the curser anywhere in the text box and hit Ctrl V to put the picture in your post. I double space from the text above to where I want the picture so it looks like this.

done!

When you go back to Photobucket the next time you will want to click "My Albums" from the blue bar near the top. This will show the first page of your down loaded pictures. If you have more than 1 page you can go to the bottom of the page where they are listed numerically and click "Show All" to see your whole collection at once. Use this thread to do a little practicing and you'll have it right away. Then you'll be as happy as me and spomey. LOL. Good luck. EW

BTW if all this gives you brain damage and you just want the pics posted, send them to EricW@centurytel.net and let me know where they go. I guess that is what you asked for originally. lol. EW
