Need help!!! Polaris motor mounts/belt ???

I had a 98 700 RMK, pulled the motor and clutches, and put it in a 2001 800 RMK chassis. I used the two piece motor mounts that came with the 2001 chassis. Should I have used the one piece motor mount that was in the 98? And what belt should I be using???Needless to say somthings not right with my clutching.

Thanks

center to center

compare your center to center and pick your belt fom there. if its the same as the 98 use the 98 belt if its the same center to center as the 01 use that size. you may have to go with something completely different but its a start.

the bulkheads are the same, you should be using the 1065 belts. either the straps or the plate will work. the plate is probably better then the straps for the crank. but with the 700 you should be ok. I would check your alignment and make sure your clutched right. and what is your gearing. I would go with 19/41

If you used the straps did you also your the little spacer plate and the T-plate? Those need to be there on the strap setup.
