I have used the Ortovox M2's, they are great because they automatically turn on when buckled. I have seen other people go out unprotected because they forgot to turn theirs on. The M2 also shows you the direction, signal strength and distance to the buried person. I currently have 4 of them and am selling a couple of sleds so I would sell you 2 of these M2's that I have for $300 plus shipping.

The BCA Tracker DTS is the easiest beacon to use, and probably the most durable too. It's all digital, so it points the distance and direction to the victim. It displays the distance and direction in real-time, so you can practically run to the victim. If you're wanting simple and very reasonable price, I would say go with the Tracker. There are other beacons that are more expensive and have longer range, better pinpointing, easier multiple-burial searching, etc., but they can be a little more difficult to use if you've never used a beacon before. Feel free to call if you want to talk about the different beacons over the phone.
