need help from you 809 guys

i want to install an 809 in my mnt cat chassis and need to know if you can change the electrical to get the reverse and still maintain the same power. i plan on having some porting done and have been told by several builders that 185+ hp is very possible.

You not only need the electrical but also the stator housing etc. The RER units have two pickups so the newer housing has provisions to mount the extra pickup. SkiDoo can program the MPEM to change the rev limiter, etc if you need to spin it high.
