Need help Egine install 700 xc sp

I am new to this sport. I picked up a 2002 in boxes, a month ago and I am ready to install rebuilt engine . I have no manual. #1 There are 4 lines from the oil pump 2 go to the motor. Do the other 2 go to the carb? 2 lines are missing from the carb. I did not know if there were from an over flow tube that is missing. #2 There is a large line coming out of the fuel pump and to me the pump looks like a diaphram type so does this get vacume/crank preasure to run it?I have figured out were every thing else goes.A picture would help. I have put a lot of things together without instructions but never a sled. I know I have a typo in the title. Thanks for helping.

if it is the same as an 800, which i think it is. yes the other two oil lines go to the carbs. little brass barbed fittings on side of carbs. if you ar asking where the line from the fuel pump goes, it goes to the carbs. in the pics i am pointing to the brass fittings where the oil lines go and to the plastic fitting where the fuel line goes

Yep 2 lines go to the carbs just like tech is saying. You are also right about the fuel pump. One from the tank, one to the carbs and one to the bottom of the engine case to recieve the pulse from the case to actuate the pump.

Good luck

Chris

Don't use any red plastic lines to connect the fuel pump to the engine. It's a cruel joke that Polaris has played on those who fix their own engines. Better make do with the original black, fiber cross weaved, rubber hose. The new Polaris red plastic hose kinks when it gets warm and ensuingly cuts off the suction from the engine, thus cutting off the fuel that feeds the carbs, that feeds the engine, that powers the sled, that gets you back to the snow park in one piece.
