Need help ASAP...Buying a trailer 2day! Need YOUR input.

I have the chance to buy a 8 1/2' X 12' featherlite aluminum open snowmobile trailer with a ramp. It is a v-nose. Does have a cloth cover and frame but doesn't look the greatest. What is this thing worth? Any suggestions of what price to offer? Not sure of the year but looks to be in decent shape. I can't seem to find a sight to find out what this trailer is worth. Don't want to low ball the guy and piss him off.

I don't think the cover is worth a lot, it's kind of like an accesorie that you have on a vehicle. We all know those aren't worth anything when time of selling.

$500.00-$800.00 for the trailer would be a ballpark I would think depending on the deck and the age of the trailer. Don't forget to look at the tires and wheels and axle.

Also look at the wiring to see if there were any "redo's" over the years where they used crimp connectors (Not a good thing)..............
