Need help adjusting fuel controller

Need help tuning with BD box

could anyone give me some pointers on how to adjust the BD fuel controller for a modded M8. I know my sled is running rich, but am scared to reduce the fuel. It is an 07 M8, trail ported, SLP single, and timbersled intake. I got some numbers from the guy that ported it, but need to fine tune it.

How much does one number increase or decrease fuel?

The numbers I have are way different than the performance Kit SLP post online. How much of a difference could it be? I wouldn't think trail ports from two different people would be that much of a change in fuel settings.

You have to give us more info. What kind of fuel box, altitude you ride at, etc..

I'd do it opposite of that- rely on plugs and correlate with EGT temps. EGTs don't mean sh!t without knowing and seeing what your plugs/piston wash are telling you. Put a piece of tape over the EGTs until you know your setup is good. Then pull the tape, make your runs and write down temps at various throttle positions.

Now that you know X temp = good plug readings/piston wash, you can see that anything above/below YOUR EGT numbers are good/bad for YOUR motor. I say YOUR egt temps because each motor is different and there are many variables that can affect EGTs....

I never said to ignore the plugs or wash, just asked the guy if he had any gauges sheesh. As stated ^^^. The gauges will help keep you informed of what the engine is doing once you get her dialed in.
