need help!! 2006 yamaha vector

does anyone out there know how to split the case on a 4stroke? i am currently rebuilding my 2006 vector and i took all the bolts out that connect the two halfs (believe there is 12 or 14 of them) and i cannot bust the two halfs loose? any help would much appreciated!

Look it over real well, and make sure you have not missed any bolts. I just looked at an online parts book, and it looks to me that there is 24. Looks like they go through the main saddle, not just around the outside.
