Need help 2 blown motors in a month

Ok I have blown 2 motors on a 2012 pro Rmk one lasted 109 miles it was a new motor the other about 190 miles it was also a new motor both took the same side lower rod bearing first motor blew it out the case the second motor didn't I don't understand y they are doing this it's really frustrating. Is there any way to test the oil pump I turned it up it was useing 1qt 8 oz per tank of fuel I pre mixed 100:1 in tank I ride nothing but mountans. The second motor ran good for 3 days in Cooke city with waist deep snow and ran it hRd went out yesterday it made it 10 miles on the trail and rod bearing went please help

if these were both new motors id say double check how you turned up your oiler and everything around the area is hooked up correctly and didnt get knocked out of wack trying to get in there. Id also make sure your cap is venting. I seen yesterday that my oil use was pretty low considering the amount of miles i put on, pulled the cap and could hear the vacuum/air rushing into the tank... so thats my project today.

theres a handful of other things but maybe start there...

Did you prime-purge your oilpump when you first fired up your engine. You have to clear out all the air out of your lines and oilpump or your bearings will be dry for first few minutes or longer. I believe you manually turn the pump arm fully until the lines are clear of air bubbles and starts to smoke a lot.

I know I turned the oiler up right and had that all hooked up right bleed the pump for a good 5 minutes but oil cap is a consern of mine but y would it be the same mag side bearing both times all the prevouse rides used the right amount of oil only diff is I let it idle a little longer then I normally do at the truck before I went up the mountan

Check your oil cap vent, my buddy has a 13 assault blew up in 50 miles, vent in cap did not work, his full oil tank was sitting on the shop floor with the hose unplugged and no oil was leaking, he took the cap off and it ran out right away. i know of another one same deal, oil lines were dry they took the cap off and oil runs out. Checked my 14 and the cap only vents if perfectly level and even then sometimes it doesnt unless its just right, I drilled it out and put a dirt bike fuel cap vent on, works great and its using more oil- only fixed the vent on the cap...

I did all that it went at almost 200 miles after 3 days in waist deep snow if it would of went it would of went then. It went on the trail up yesterday wasn't even riding hard

2nd motor completely different motor or the original rebuilt? for a bearing to fail it would almost have to be lack of lubrication or foreign material introduced into the bearing, what did the rod bearing look like, like it was running dry?

Is the head stock? Or, do you have a injector issue?

If you have enough lubrication (and you say you do) only other thing I've seen to take out a new rod bearing that quick is long periods of part throttle det.

Stock head and this is a different motor to me looks like the rollers are gone I don't know if my oil cap is acuseing it I do roll my sled a lot to get unstuck but you would think everything is getting dry I'm useing blue marble and always have with this sled since it was new sled never had a problem with first motor with over 1000 miles on it I just sent it in to have preventive maintnece and have had problems since

The vent in the cap issue isn't with the vent not closing, it is with the vent not opening. I have been finding this to have been an issue since 2010 or so on a slew of oil caps when testing them on sleds I work on.

It's pretty scary when you disconnect an oil line at the motor when the sled is sitting flat and level in your shop and zero oil comes out.

The 2 things that wreak havoc on rod bearings are lack of oil and like GEO pointed out, Detonation.

Sled never det once and it was useing 1qt 8 oz of oil per tank the previous weekend in waist deep snow there's lots of oil in the intake when I pulled the reeds so it had to b getting oil
