need help 06 900 fusion

Just redid my sled. New long block, ecu, stator, reeds, and knock sensor as per dealer. Have reset the TPS and still not running properly. It starts on third pull idles around 1800 rpms for like a min then cuts down to 900-1050 on its own and wont idle any faster. When I tried to run it around the yard with your thumb in one spot it just keeps acting crazy (rpms going up and down but not moving thumb). Resistance tested TPS sensor and harness and all came up fine. Also resistance tested injectors and they are also fine so definitely stumped and dont know where to go from here. An help from u guys would be appreciated. It is also flashing the code 10 for cps sensor but told by dealer that code is redundent so dont worry. But with new stator and everthing testing fine for resistance still no go.

Did you use an analog meter to test for a dead/flatspot in the tps sensor? Also what is a cps sensor? If the check engine light is flashing then something is wrong.

CPS is the crank position sensor.

its located on the stator wiring harness..its a black box that bolts to the block and the flywheel rotates below it..the keyways on the flyhwheel have to be gapped between the key and the sensor..

sounds like you bumped it and its not reading right, pull off your recoil housing and check the gap..theres 2 sensors there that look the same, look at the service manual and gap BOTH of these sensors to be safe
