i got a 75 gig hd that is full. i just got a terabit drive. how do i get every thing from one to the other. i don't want to know i did this other than lots more space. i don't want to start over.

Ill make an image of acronis bootable when i get back to the office and try and email it. Iam sure our exchange server can handle it.should be back in an hour matt

it is sent. just use nero or another burning rom to make the iso bootable. it also has universal restore so you can make the drive bootable with most any pc compatible hardware. really nice when you upgrade pcs. matt

In order to make it bootable, you would still need software no matter how you interface the drives.my best guess is he has an ide and is upgrading to a sata being a 1tb.personally the best way I know to clone is with acronis. with decent hardware and a drive that doesn't have any issues 80gb can be moved in an hour or less.
Why not just make the big drive a slave, keep only the operating system on the small drive and put your files and programs on the big drive.
