need discount yamaha wheeler parts

They're pretty easy to rebuild, actually. Which axle,a nd what year bike is it coming out of? Should be able to save you a PILE of cash.

it's an 02 660. it's the rear outside cv joint. i wondered if i could just get the parts, and a buddy said you have to buy the whole shaft? i'am going to tear it apart tomarrow does the joint come off the shaft or is it one piece and you take the ring off on the inside and pull the joint apart?

I have the same bike with the same joint that is about to grenade. Talked to the local dealer and the outer joint (1/2 shaft) is no longer available seperatly (03+ are still available but are different). Buy a Gorrila axle instead. They are about the same price as a stocker and much stronger. Some cheaper ones are available on E-Bay but I've heard they are junk.

You can take the ring out. It's been a while since I owned my grizzlies, but if I remember right, the INSIDE one is the one that comes apart real easy. The outside one is doable, just not real sure how. I'll look for that info right meow...

it's funny you posted epi because i just ordered one this morning from them. $149 for 1/2 shaft. and epi is right in town where i live

PERFECT! Glad I could be of some help! Gorrillas are great axles, but in my experience with my type of riding, the stock axles breaking is almost a good thing. As soon as you upgrade the axles, then, like any other mod, you make something else the weak link....
