Need complete 900 motor. Know of any?

Hey guys I have a chance to pick-up a 2005 complete roller that just needs a motor. Should I even bother with this idea or are there any complete motors out there that I could get? I found one that needs a crank so that might be my best bet if I buy the sled?

depends on what kind of price you can get the roller for. if its cheap enough its a good deal. but you can usually pick up a running 05 900 for around 3,000.

Ebay, couple in the $1300-$1600 range or go on the swapmeet and grab that 975BB complete with bottom end for $1600. If you get the sled for under 2000, imo it would be worth it but i love 9's.

I might have a complete 900 motor with 3 rides on new pistons and an SLP head on it. I have a complete running 05 900 159 for sale too.

Z-Man, Why don't you move right on up here to Colorado and fix up my 900 with a Turbo?? You know you want to be in COLORADO with another record year ready to set in!! And after the turbo's all done, ill be glad to show you around all the nice powder holes! What do you say? HAHA
