I'm looking at putting new front a rear gears in a 1 ton dodge diesel. Does anyone know a shop they trust in the area? I'd do it myself but I'd rather not screw it up and have to pay someone to fix my mess. I can either buy the gears if someone wants to put them in or I can just take it to a shop and let them deal with it start to finish.

High country performance, rocky mountain drive line,4 wheel parts are just a few. Its not that hard but you need special tools and the first time is nerve racking . 6 to 8 bills with gears, gears will run from 350 to 500.

I really wish I could get it done for that price. It's looking like gears are going to run $1200 and the install $800-1000. That's me buying the gear sets. I have no idea what a shop is going to want for a set of gears.

That is high even for 1 ton gears, 9" and 44 only run 4 bills or so. I have no idea what my buddy charges at his shop, but I can hook you up with a great mechanic. If you want his # pm me. He has a shop not just a shade tree mechanic.
