K guys n gals, in need some input please. I'm torn between the 7" slydog powder hounds and the SLP powder pros for my 1100. Looking at the skis I can imagine each might have their own set of advantages over the other. Like I said, I am imagining. Just lookin for input, pros n cons, experience, snow conditions etc between these two skis and an M1100 turbo

Thanks

Sly Dogs

The only sled I've ever had that I felt really needed after market skis was the M1100. I bought my first set of after market skis last year and went with the 8" wide Powder Hounds and have been super happy with them. I tried my buddies SLP powder pros for his 2012 M800 first and didnt like them. Sly dogs supposedly have wimpy ski loops but I reefed on them pretty hard last year and they held up. I do think they could break and need to be stouter for mtn riding.

For the 1100 Turbo the Slydogs were the best ski that I tested last season. We ran C&A, SLP, Slydog and Simmons Gen 3.

The Slydogs were just kind of a happy medium and worked really well. I would recommend the Powder Hounds 8" for the 4 stroke. I really like the Powder Pros a lot on my M800, but the 4 stroker is a whole different animal and responds the best to the hounds.

Bear in mind this is my opinion and is not set in stone.

Ill throw this out there. If you buy Slydogs from us and don't like them, Ill swap you out for the Powder Pros. You just pay the freight. That way you are insured.

Had a riding buddy buy as set of PP today that used to have the slydogs on his m8. I thought they were terrible on his m8. I've had PP on my last 3 sleds which is 8 years. IMO ski opinions are largely dictated by snow types where you ride and your riding style. Awfully hard to pick something that subjective without trying it.

I know.....great help right lol.
