Need a Polaris Sled Cover

I have a 2006 Polaris 700 RMK that i removed the factory front bumper and installed a Skinz front bumper. I have a factory Polaris cover that i put on the sled with the factory bumper when i transported it but it will not fit now because the Skinz bumper is much wider in the front than the factory bumper. Any ideas of cover manufacturers and what others are using that have a Skinz bumper or any other aftermarket bumper installed on there sled would be of help. An enclosed sled trailer is not an option at this time.

My son in law and I both put on the skinz bumper and both have Polaris covers. with the son in laws, we move the select all the way forward, place the cover on the handle bars first and the cover still fits although a little snug and the nose is not a perfect fit. I have a 3" riser so I had to have my wife put some pockets in where the handlebars fit in the cover. Snug fit with the select all the way forward, but it goes on.

Thanks for the reply benamen however i have a seven inch riser so i know it will not fit. I just installed the bumper this past weekend and have not tried to fit the cover on as i know it will not fit. It was tight even with the seven inch riser and factory bumper.

You could have someone put in a strip to lengthen the front portion. Mice had eaten through my cover when I purchased my machine and I replaced the material in the nose. would not have been to much more work to put in a longer piece at the time.
Just throwing out ideas.

Don't think mine will fit either. I have a vertical escape cover if someone needs one. Mine got front Skinz, 4 inch Riser and VE rear extension, pretty sure it's not even going to be close now.

The factory cover fits great on my 07 D7 with a 5.25 Polaris riser and Skinz bumper. Have you tried it yet? The bumper is a little wider but it doesn't stick out further. I think it will fit the same as it always did...goodandtight. Or, you can always get a Skinz cover that stretches over.

My bars are about 9" over stock (and about 4" wider) and I have a Skinz bumper. I modified my cover so the bars are no longer under it. I cut a hole in the top and put the cover on the sled. Then made two nice cuts, one on each side of the bars, got rid of the excess material and pinned in an industrial grade zipper on each side. Took the cover to a friend's wife who does a lot of sewing and had her make it permanent.

Now it's really easy to get on and off (huge hole with both zippers open), fits very well, and only leaves the bars exposed.

Take it to a tent and tarp or awning business near where you live. You could trailer the sled to show them what you need and have them modify the cover. Lots of tent and awning repair places in Seattle.

Now that you've brought this up I am going to have mine done. It looks like they can cut just above the elastic and add some fabric so it will go over the ends of the bumper. Pretty simple fix actually and even if they charge you $50 its cheaper than an aftermarket cover. Up here (in Alaska) they will charge an hour of shop labor. I had a bear bite my seat and put a couple holes in it and I took it to a local upholstery shop and they put a patch on it to get me through the season In the summer they are going to put a new cover on it and new foan for $200 out the door. The cover is non-slip material. He had a bunch of seats in there he was doing for free-stylers along side of all these couches and chairs. Who would have thought?
