Anyone have one? Had a small oopsie and got one that looks like a hockey stick

Please pm me as I need to get her back on the snow ASAP while the season is here. Thanks Brendon

I used a pair of an old style Honda street bike rear shocks ...seem to work well and fit right in place. Probably cheaper / easier to find an aftermarket set or see if you can match something up from Royal Distributing ....
Winter here was off to a great start but two dumps of rain this week have taken the bottom out of it for now .... hope you get it going again!

It is the rear off a pseudo street bike, I don't remember what year or size, but I have the two off the back. It is looking like 12.25-12.5" center to center. Not sure if that could be made to work, or if you needed something a tad longer if need be.

I ended up using front skid shocks from a 08 nitro skid...was a PITA to find something to fit...was a lot of work to get these right...I was in a bind because I broke a shock and had no choice...are yours toast?

Yes, both shocks are sticking when cold ! Guess I'll head to a wrecker and see what I can come up with! Thinking of an early 80,s trail bike possibly.
Thanks again for your great posts! You made my scoot mods a lot easier.

hey no problem...I remember when I was looking there are some moped shocks I think I coulda made work...get on google and have a look...biggest thing is finding something with the correct spring tension as most are to stiff for the front of the light sport.

Shock option

I had one blown shock so I went with a used set of Yammy Blaster shocks (1/2" longer) and bought some replacement springs from Wahl Bros Racing (70-100lbs rating). I had to mill the eyes down to fit into the upper mounting brackets and that was it!
