Nascar and Hendrick

Pretty much a slight tap on the wrist. All suspensions lifted fines remain.
3 officials unanamously denied the appeal last week. This week when it went to Middlebrook who is and ex GM exec and a good friend of Hendrick, stops almost everything of the penalty, to a huge surprise to most everyone in Nascar. How much do you suppose 25 points and 2 six week suspensions sell for now days? What ever the cost, Hendrick can afford it.

What a bunch of BS. I remember why I quit watching this garbage. Worse than the WWE.

Thats why i wnt back to watching the NHRA!! good racing...no cheaters.

Cheatin is racin, they all do it. Even the drag racers. But if you get caught man up and suffer the consequences. Don't have one of your good friends overturn the punishment.

I think nascar would be more exciting if they were allowed to modify their cars a little bit.

When they pull a car out of line before inspection then dock points and impose fines for something that you or I wouldn't see the difference if we were looking for it, I think they are going to far. The claw is enough of a test, if it can pass that, let them try some different body lines.

Nascar did that before the COT and look how those cars looked. They fit the templates but fenders were bowed out left fenders were 3 to 4 inches higher than the right to change airflow and down force, the cars looked rediculous. The owners went to Nascar and said help us help ourselves. Develop a car with strict guidelines for it and make us stick to it so we do not spend a ton of money modifying and wind tunnel testing. So Nascar did just that. Low and behold the King and the team of cheat gets caught doing it again and they get slapped on the wrist. I really wonder how things would have gone if it had been, say, Robbie Gordon or the team that Kurt Busch is with now? I'd bet it would have been upheld.
