Who makes the narrowest aftermarket running boards and does anyone have any advice for narrowing the body work on a pro climb? I'm curious to how much u could narrow the belly pan and suck in the side panels

Polaris pro boards, 2" narrower then just push in the panels and rivet them on. Takes a slight bit of modifying but works great!

WYO's at it AGAIN!!! nice to see. Might try this on my 12 when i take whole tunnel off for short cooler an powder coating this summer. Hey WYO I dare you to try a 3" post forward kit with 2.5'' risers on the PC now. (I know the steerings not how you like it) but boy can you even hold a steeper sidehill with that setup compared to any setup i tried with the vertical post. Should work amazing with the narrow boards for total washout free sled.

I did Ras boards... took a bit of work.

I trimmed the lower body panels to be sucked in around the boards even further. Notched them to pull them in another 1/2 inch then riveted them back to the hoops. I also had to trim 1-1.5 inches off the stock skid plate, so that told me how much I was able to narrow it up. It was basically the same as stock in the front to a solid 1.5 inches cut off at the rear where it meets up with the running boards. Made a pretty solid difference. I should have measured, but I'm sure it's pretty close to what WYOBOY is saying.

I will say there is NO flex in these boards and they are a dream on snow evacuation.

I did the same thing as you. This setup rocks. I was already rubbing the primary cover into the side of the body panel so I didn't want to pull it in at the front of the body panel.

I may get a chance to ride a post forward sled? But on my last one I cut down the adjustable 2 1/4" and it worked really well, total game changer. So we will see where I go with that??

The pro boards brought it in about 2" per side. the panels don't pull in at the primary it pulls in right behind it, so no difference there.

We'll have the one that just got done that will need to be tuned a bit (doing 925 now)... I'm really excited to ride it, hoping it's the sled that talks me back into a cat for the next ride... steering setup that works for me, coupled with your mods, and light weight will make for a nasty machine. NONE of them are viable in stock form if you push them hard, I'm just curious to see how this setup feels on a well modded sled.

I can tell you for sure that it does make for a nasty sled... I've got some more weight to loose, but it's well worth the time/effort. Most fun I've had on a sled.
