Naneum Basin Info (Ellensburg and Wenatchee area)

FYI DNR is doing some salvage logging from the Table Mtn Fire from last summer. The loggers are actively plowing the main Naneum Road and hauling logs from the Pearson Creek area south to the pavement at the southern end of the Naneum (pavement). Apple Country is grooming Swift Creek, Boulder Road and Dot Creek. Snowmobiles are allowed on the Naneum Road (BE VERY CAREFUL) between Dot Creek and Swift Creek only. This area has been posted and is hard to miss so please pay attention if you are riding in this area. Probably want to stay away from the active logging areas also when going cross country. They may or may not be logging on the weekends.

Log trucks and snowmobiles don't mix very well so be safe!

Stumbled upon this a couple weeks ago while riding up there. It was weird to come down Boulder and BOOM! plowed road. Be careful up there!

Can you tell me more about this Apple Country Groomer? Wasn't aware of grooming there until I saw the groomer out in the middle of the night on a search near Dot Creek last year. Does the groomer come from Wenatchee or E-burg?.......Thax.......
