Went with him last night and picked up a beautiful clean 800 Hawk. I'll post a pic l8r.

He just picked up an 800 and joined the club.

Here's a pic of him securing the trail. Don't want any skinny skiers accidently wandering onto a trail..... wouldn't want them to get hurt. :eek:

Well finally got a pic of Bently50's hawk.

Also Buck's and Bob's and mine are in the Pic.

Had good pow yesterday. Buck hit a mine just under the snow, hit the EJECT button and landed safely without getting hit by the Hawk. The hawk did a complete flip and landed trackside down going the right direction about 75 away . Only problem was skidrail stabbed the track and took out a good dozen clips or whatever they are and split the track for a couple feet. Drove out OK.

That is one ripped track!

I had saved a 136 that one of the fellas around here ripped out like that thinking of sticking it on my snow scoot. It proved to be fruitless. Glad the ride out was safe. Did the ripped track get hung up again on the way out? I am pleased to see a group of Hawks out riding together like that. There are many explorer/2moto kits sales happening in my area. I hope to see groups of snowbikers like that here.
 
why does it happen

why stab the rails....? ive got thousands of miles with no stabs(knock on wood) yet. is it the track is too loose? snow is too deep? what are gonna do to keep it from happening again? id hate to get thrown over the bars not expecting it then realize i just toasted a 750 track!!!!

Congrats to Drills or Drilz or something like that. He drills a lot of holes in dark moist places that aren't pleasant if you get my drift.

Anyway he picked up an 800 Hawk and is here in northern Utah also.(actually he might be from Salt Lake,UT (I won't abv. that one again))

It was good to meet and ride with you and Eeberg last Sat. We'll have to hook up for some more riding.

It was great to meet you guys with all the Hawks up there in Logan! Nice to be around others that enjoy the hawks as much as I have mine. Hope I can make it up again soon for more rides. Also fun to hear the history of my hawk and meet the guy that made a bunch of the parts!!!

I found out that coolant was leaking out of one of the radiators under the seat(good eye)from where the gas tank had worn it thin. Had a guy weld it up last week and seems to be alright but took more of a weld job than I thought because it was sooo thin there. Something to watch out for...
