My sled ran away Part 2...

Well, this forum never ceases to amaze me.

After my little incident last week w8n4u & rookierdr (it was his birthday too) stopped by the house to see how bad the damage was to my sled. After looking it over he loaded her up and took her home with him! The guys spent a few hours straightening out the tunnel, footwell, steering hoop area. Then on Friday w8n4u and Kentucky got bored and tore off the plastic that needed to be replaced, straightened my lower a-arm and a few other items. THEN w8n4u made a list of the parts I was going to need, even looked up the parts numbers for me!

Thanks to these guys I have gone from a $1500 repair bill to a couple hundred... and my baby will look fantastic again. They were very meticulous on everything!

So, huge thanks to w8n4u, rookierdr, Kentucky and of course the best playmate ever... Brent.

Now... can you guys fix my hand & arm???

That's what I like most about the sledding community as a whole, the brotherhood and camaraderie that goes with being involved in sledding. Kudos to some great guys...

o its going to cost you more than you'll ever know Skids back in with new hifaxes just waiting for shock-a-con to bring over the rest of the broken parts. You missed a good weekend a baker, Brent is a good tour guide even though i was timid. He wouldn't let me try his sled wonder why.

Many many thanks for sure! Although I think I've figured out this was just a ploy to justify the purchase of a plastic welder!

Wade, we got one picture and it really doesn't show damage!

Brent said the last plastic piece will get picked up today! YAY!!!!!! Then she can sit in the garage and wait for me to heal.
