I picked this up on Saturday and have been working on it non stop, fixing little things that would likely leave me stranded somewhere (just my luck!) and because I'm a freak for attention to detail. The sled was filthy, both under the hood and outside.

Far as I can tell, it has a Boss Seat, SLP twins, SLP intake, Boondocker box, 2cool side vents, EGTs and a 162x2.25" Maverick track. Clutching is SLP MTX 68s with a Green/pink. It has Fox Zero Pros, but I don't know if that's stock or not?

Plans call for a 2 wheel conversion, and some scratchers. This is my first ever mountain sled (I'm a flatlander). I'm going to hit Idaho with some buddies in March.

What do you guys think?

5400, has 1000 miles. It also came with all stock parts from it's previous 141" days. No track though. Got an extra D&D can for the stock pipe too.

OK deal?

You need to do the hrp suspension fix on that sled, your ride will improve as the suspension will actually work then.

You won't be able to do the hrp fix on those rails. If you look at where the front arm mounts on the rails you will see that they are not the same as actual M7 rails. I know this as I bought the hrp brackets for my M7 that started life as a 141 and they would not work. Thought I better let you know before you bought them for your self.

Very nice sled by the way, I would say you got a good deal on it also. Have fun on your first ride you will love that sled!!!

The sled actually has the M7 162" rails, I have the 141s in the garage. What should I look for to make sure they'll work?

Where the front arm bolts to the rails is where you will want to compare to your 141 rails. The M7 rails have a triangle shape with a point at the top. The rails on your machine (162) right now have a well for a lack of better words a platue (sp)? across the top which the machined part of the hrp brackets won't fit over. If you hold you 141 rails next to the 162 rails you will see the difference right away.

You can HRP those rails. Just takes some extra cutting to get the brackets to fit. I had to do it on my 141 skid. Definitely worth it. They had 3 styles of rails. The originals which the kit will directly bolt to, this style that needs some mods to get it to work and then the new style which have the HRP fix made right in them.

I cut the rail to match the profile of the 05 rails so that the HRP bracket is a direct bolt-on just as it was intended. I have some pics and a template I made. PM me your email address and I can forward you what I have if you want it.
