My new sled questions

So I just bought a left over 2013 procross xf 1100 turbo sno pro. I'm coming from a free ride and 2008 renegade xp 800. I was drawn to this sled like everyone else because of the 1100 turbo four stroke along with the huge amount of aftermarket performance upgrades.

Unfortunately there are issues that come with these. The belt issues being the largest. Now I've read a ton about the issues but have come up with mixed results as far as the best over all fixes. I know some people say there isn't a set fix, which i believe . But if I can get 1000 miles to a belt ill be pretty happy.

I've read where the osp jack shaft support along with engine stop is a definite buy. Along with a team or STM secondary . I feel a better primary will help with ballooning which can help the breakage too. Is this a truly decent set up? I'm going to break it in stock and see what I've got. But it won't be long before I increase boost and exhaust and better intercooler .

Thanks for any advice or

While I am partial to Evolution Powersports products there are many products out there that make it better than stock though still don't fix the design flaws of the Tcl and chain misalignment caused due to the engine moving all over the place.

Evolution Powersports is one company you may want to check out. They are marketing Turbie Performance Tcl delete as well as many other great products for more real world hp.

I saw the tcl delete by turbie . I like the concept it's just a steep price . The osp brace and engine stop is about half the price so I was trying to see if those really work

Since there some sleds that blow belts, but many more that don't, I wouldn't through a bunch of money at anything yet that isnt broke.Get the new cat secondary, for you it's free since you're still under warranty. Break the belt in properly and see how long it lasts. You might be surprised. I had two 1100t's last year, both with 250 and 280hp set ups. They are a blast to ride. Both got over a thousand miles on them, one blew belts the other didn't. I have half a dosen friends with them, only one was a belt blower.

Madmax is right. A lot of guys will get paralysis by analysis. For the first half of last winter I was so convinced that mine would be a belt blower that I was always stopping and checking my belt. Well I stopped checking after a while and low and behold I ran the same belt all year long. I do suggest gearing down and venting though. Everyone that rides hard vents anyways so that is always a safe mod.

I have been blessed to not have a belt blower. I do feel for the guys that do have the belt blowers though. I agree see what you have before you spend to much money.
