Just bought a new Pro. Got a really good deal on a private sale. It only has 261 km. Cant wait to get it out. Any advice for the first ride would be appreciated.

the oil pump delivery is a bit on the lean side, most riders in my area are adding oil to the gas tank so as to make it 100 to 1...about 1.3 oz per gal of added fuel...there are some who say this is unnecessary, but the ones who do add, seem to have fewer engine problems...if it weren't for epa regulations, no one would running their oil as lean as manufacturers are today...

Add 1 oz of oil per gallon of gas in your tank. Good insurance. If you want more power the PA Head and the Track Trim works Great. Also tighten up the front track shock, helps it get and stay on edge a lot easier.

Do exactly as the above posts have said, mine has been gas and go for 1,000 miles. The book clutching recommendations are very good and really hard to improve on, it looks like Polaris did a fair amount of testing and tuning. I personally could not stand the Ape Hanger handlebars and replaced them with some narrowed up 5 1/4" rise RSI's. I haven't had much deep snow time on mine until today, I finally got the chance to ride it in 2.5' of fresh. I watched an XP and E-Tech struggling and getting buried on there way to Lamoille Lake this morning, so having a few competitive bones left in my body I felt I had to show them what the Pro would do. The Pro did great, it blew through their stuck marks and broke trail all the way to the Lake on it's first pull.:face-icon-small-sho I had way too much fun, since it was a long gentle pull you could say it outclimbed them by 2,000', fun day!!

Thanks Guys for all the tips....pin it...cant wait.

Is there a way to turn up the oil pump??? or is that in the programing?

Fill your oil tank up and fill your fuel tank. Ride the sled and see what it burns for oil before you start turning your pump up! Fred these sleds run good stock but run real well with a pipe head and fuel controller combo

Nice sled, snowcheck edition right? Oil and trackshock has been mentioned. All I can add is cut that windshield down if you ever plan to roll it, they tend to pop off and break. Enjoy!

Fella I bought it from was pretty down selling. I felt bad, told him I would give it a good home:usa2:

Sweet sled. I love the orange but I settled for black. I have mine completely stock and honestly probably will keep it that way. Like the other guys said adding a bit of oil will not hurt anything. Good luck man badass sled!!

I'll trade you my Assault panels for yours...mine only have about 1,000 alder scratches I swear...

I want that sled soo bad!!!! Congratulations! I seen a guy in our group on one in the trees that went where only turbos could go.

That orange looks sooo good! I too settled for black but every time i see the orange one makes me question my decision.
Enjoy the ride!

You can always paint stuff to make it different colors. I bought the red 11 PRO but you wouldn't know it by looking at it now.

Make sure to check and tighten all the bolts after the first few rides.
