It's just been a really good ending to a pretty tough season...many of you know of my sob story so I won't bore you with it! LOL.

Been looking for race fuel for about 10 days, get a few rides in before the end of the season. Had to run the XP last Saturday, cause I didn't have race fuel(no offense Doo buys, I love my XP...BUT it JUST ain't BOOST!!!LOL

I made a post where to find fuel, after looking within a 350 mile radius and coming up not. WestMont was one of several to respond in trying to help a guy out, and it just worked our things would work best with him.

Got nearly a BARREL of 114 at a great price from WestMont. Not only that, but he drove to Licholn, from Missoula, to meet me, from Cut Bank, after work on Friday.

I was about an hour late, and it was 10:00 before I go there, weather was poor in the pass, and I thought he would be just a little upset. I apologized for being late but that wasn't a concern and he was just happy to be helping a fellow sledder out. John, myself, and his brother Josh struck up a conversation(about sledding of course) and we chatted for about 20 minutes. Just awesome guys and truely went above and beyond what most would do. I really was a pleasure meeting you John and your brother Josh...hope we can get together next season.

AS FOR THE FUEL!!!!!!!! I LOVE it! I had to turn by fuel down by 2 increments and it was still a richer than with the 110 I was running.

And BTW, John wouldn't accept anything for his time and expense in doing so.

I like that 114...GOOD stuff.

Thanks John, it was a pleasure meeting you both,

Al

There are so many good people here. WestMont sounds like one of them.

Good job pointing out the good. We hear way to much about the bad.

It's good to hear a story like that. It kind of restores your faith about trusting others. Unfortunately, these days we usually hear stories about good folks being ripped off or taken for a ride. I'm glad your season ended on a good note. Mine is not over yet but soon.

westmont is one hell of a guy! one fo the nicest guys i have ever met! i was on the hunt for a clutch and he tore his shop apart to find one for me. sold it to me for 50 buck...wouldnt take any money until i got it workin right. btw john if you read this i still owe you $50 bucks damnit.

I haven't met Westmont in person but I know his kids and brother....GOOD peeps!!!!

I'm glad that turned out well for you.

Glad to help out when I can guy's. Handshake deals are always the most rewarding ...... when they go right that is and I can say I haven't had any to complain about. I believe in what goes around comes around. Sledders are good peeps.

There has been many on this site that have helped me out in the past in one way or another and I would like to extend a thanks to them. Wished I could list them all but to the guys I've bought parts from, helped me in sled recovery missions, etc.... , Thank you.

Happy Easter everyone.
