Hey, just wanted to share a picture of my first deer, a 3x5 muley. Yeah I know, he is not huge or even large, but I'm pretty happy with him.

Had to take a standing shot with no rest after running up several hills on the Bighorns, I'm just proud I was able to hit him where I wanted too! :face-icon-small-hap

2 elk, my deer, a lot of hiking, and some snow to play in! It was a good trip. :D

"Some" snow to play in? Good god, are the Belts the only mountain range not getting snow...Nice deer too.

Congrats!!! I dont care what anyone says, thats a nice Mulie! Happy Birthday as well! I dont think you could ask for much better of a trip.

If you do like most people, he could be a monster, just put the deer way out in front of you and take the pic!!! Them dang antlers usually tend to "shrink" after you kill em anayway.

Since I am in a bodyshop when I opened the thread "first deer" I was figuring on some real automobile carnage. :face-icon-small-ton Guess been in the autobody business to long. BTW, nice kill.

Thanks guys!

Lol, well I could have hit a very nice muley yesterday morning on the interstate but I decided to pass and let somebody else have a chance at him.

Yes, he is pretty tasty. I made half into breakfast sausage and the other is Italian sausage.
