Great sled.
Details on the O2 sensor. TRust you powered it off the DC chassis power. Did you add diode and bat? Where did you mount the sensor? On the top of the can?

Thanks

"el diablo rojo" love it! That was my name in the baseball years...threw really hard and hit a lot of people..cantankerously ornary mean if they wanted to come to the mound in a huff!:D

It will be interesting to see how you like that coating...it's slick stuff when wet so I'm guessing the snow won't stick. I like the darked out look too.

not trying to be rude but whats the point for having the 02 sensor? tunnel looks awesome thinking of doing the same to mine! good lookin sled

I already had the wideband so it was cheaper to put it on then buy egts, I like the coating, i polished the tunnel about a month ago and just getting moved around in the shop it got all scratched up so i had it coated and it looks great didnt add much weight, the guy told me it adds about 40-45lbs doing a full long box truck bed so it cant be much on my sled,

what you guys think should i go with a black hood now:confused:

El diablo-fighting chicken "talladega nights" is what it is off of my cousin has "magic man" on his xrs

Line-X on the tunnel

I think you have sparked something that many would like to try. So when you had it sprayed, did you tear the sled down to the bulkhead and tunnel? or did you just trust the line-x guy to tape it all off? Did he spray under the boards? If you get a chance can you post more pictures of just the tunnel. What about the footwell areas, did those get sprayed? Very intrigued by this.

i showed him that the bolts need to be able to slide up and down the track that they are in i had all the bolts loose on the seat and gas tank so he could position everything/spray under, he sprayed a little under the tank so you cant seen any aluminum and he sprayed the footwell area. no i didnt tear it down other than the seat and tank that was it

thanks for the comps guys well i just put a riser on it today i think iam done spending money on this money pit

I remember reading a post on here about a guy that lined his tunel on his d7 & shortly after it burnt down from over heating. Not saying yours will but it might be something to watch!

yeh it can really heat up if you spray line the tunnel cooler in the back..make sure its raw finish or your asking for trouble..

good point to bring up tree magnet..

Escape2Powder lined the tunnel/boards on our XLT RMK's back in the mid 90's. When it was cold, the stuff was hard as a rock and like standing on ice. Once the coolers warmed up under the boards, the lining became soft and tacky. Once they warmed up they were great, but sucked when cold. That being said I'm sure the material compounds are much different today, but may have the same effect.

Great looking sled!
