First off I want to say thanx in advance for up coming help!
Ok, got the motor back together, crank run out is with in spec. (1400 miles, shocked)
I have the motor on a "stand" to rotate crank with pull cord slowly
without pistons on to make sure no problems. As I pull it, is it normal to feel slight resistance from the water/oil pump shaft? I can almost feel the gear moving the shaft. It has oil on it but not soaked do to motor being upside down and oil pump off. I placed it upside down so I wouldn't beat the rods against the block and I'm turning over slowly.

I'm not sure what you mean, but the flywheel weights are magnetic and will create a bit of resistence while pulling over but only in certain spots.

ok, now that makes sense, I was thinkin' I did something wrong.
I'm going to shoot for the 3 pull start back up! But I'm going to take my time.
I had the pto side motor mount broke too....imagine that!
