My 2012 Snowcheck is supposed to be here 3rd week in Aug

I was in puting some more cash down on my Snowcheck 2012 Blk Pro with ES and the dealer informed me it should be here in 3 weeks.Of course the snow is just finished melting here after a record year. They already recieved a 2012 500 of some sort.At least I have my betterboards hanging in the garage so I will have something do do when it shows up.

Did you go through M&M?

Calling my dealer ASAP!

Just started ordering parts for the sled I do not yet own, would be sweet to get it in the next month.

Got an email last week saying sleds will be delivering in August.. Was kinda hoping for October/early November to finish raising funds but I guess a small loan wouldn't kill a guy lol

I'm hoping mine doesn't get here until October. I'm assuming the warranty clock starts ticking upon delivery. If I can't ride it I don't want to be burning my warranty while it sits.

Good point, but on the same note, Id rather know my warranty is up in the summer, instead of in the middle of a season. If you get a two year warranty, your still going to get 2 full seasons coverage. I definitely see your point, but I would worry more about that with a machine that can be used year round.

Polaris has 1 year no interest financing

2012 163 Pro, black

Stopped at my dealer today and check on delivery date for my Black 163 Pro. I was shown a ship date of 9/13. It is Good news to hear. As hard as it might be, I will probably put off picking it up until late Oct.:becky:

My dealer is getting 8 Pro RMKs in this next week. Hopefully one of them is mine. The owner wasn't in today so I have to call back on Tuesday to find out if one of the 8 that are showing up is mine.

I got almost everything all ready to install except for a Wrap from Arctic FX. And maybe Brads high compression head with a team tied clutch.

Our local dealer received there first few 2012 snowchecks on 07/15/11. There definitely coming in early!!!! I still hoping mine is coming later rather then sooner!

was at the factory on friday and they were building 163'' 800 rmk's in both retro and orange--the orange ones had a red and white seats on them-they looked really different as they did not match at all--retro's are the coolest looking...

Suppose to be a black/white seat on the orange, not red. I'll be making my dealer swap it out if that's the case wtf.

Oregon makes a good point... If you take delivery now... you will be "burning" warranty until you actually ride this season.

If you can, see if you can pay 99% to the dealer with the last part coming when the snow flies.

That way you can actually start the warranty when you start to use the sled, which may give you a bit more time to deal with a warranty claim.

Also, make sure that the sled-setup and prep are done well.
Most dealers are excellent to work with and your sled will well sorted before you get it.

Check out this thread with checklists from the factory and others... as well as thoughts on this.

I know most are excited to get their shiney, new, expensive sled in their own garage... but a bit of patience may pay off.

What difference does it make if you get it in August or October? 2 months of warranty that you can't use anyway. The only reason it would matter is if you had a warranty claim at the end of the season and didn't get the sled in until August for a repair (after 2 or 4 years). Personally, I'd rather have the sled in my shop than in the dealer's yard (if he is not storing in a building).

I see where you are coming from Bug...and it is a good point... especially if it is stored outdoors.

My concern.... what if you go to start it up in October, of however many years you have the warranty for, and you find that an injector failed or there was some sort of electronic gremlin or other problem that reared its head over the summer.... You would would be out of luck with warranty.

Orange 163: supposed to be @ the dealer Aug 25th.

I'll take the sled and warranty now, not going to matter.
