While this thought is still fresh in our brain...
let's take a look at New Orleans ...

is presently asking Congress for
250 BILLION DOLLARS
to rebuild New Orleans . Interesting number...
what does it mean?

nah... from what i know of t/a he wouldnt be singing a different tune. by that i mean he WOULD NOT be dependent on the government to help him out. the people in new orleans were governmentally dependent previous to the hurricane and it continues to the present.

Government money??........What have you been smoking, That was our (as in american taxpayers) money to begin with. The Federal Government needs to learn how to control spending, and stop taxing us so much. The government then wouldn't have to return our money to attempt to stimulate the economy.
If we were not taxed so much to begin with, the economy would be just fine.

Aren't you a lobbyist or something like that in D.C. That explains a lot right there........

Good Post T/A although I'm not normally a fan of oversimplifying govt policy/taxation and spending it puts into perspective the amount of money some of the govt officials seem to throw around like chump change.

Try going more than 100 miles from where you were born and seeing what poverty is sldgy. Have you been to downtown compton latley? Theres alot of familys who wonder if they are going to eat at night. And before you say they are just a bunch of lazy crackheads, which some are, many also work hard.

Interesting read. Although government doesn't always use common sense when spending, obligating or allocating money; I think the constituents of politicians also need to start owning up to the problems and be careful what they ask for.

explain to me this excuse? its no excuse at all... you make it sound like it was the governments in the first place and they did me a favor. typical government mentality.you have faith in an entity that operates at about 30% effeciency, wants to control the people(via many avenues such as taxation, energy, speech, guns... you get the point), and well is just basically corrupt at its core?? you will have faith in that... knock yourself out because to me that defies the elementary principals of logic.
