Must have tools in the kit for wrenching on a Khaos on the mountains?

So I think I'll be making the switch back to a Khaos for next season from a Doo. What are the must have size wrenches and such for working on the Polaris on the hills? I already own a BRP Ski-Doo tool kit, so I'd just be adding a few tools to that kit I'm thinking. Thanks (y)

BRP Doo kit comes with:
  • Stainless steel open end / ring end wrenches; 8-10mm, 10-13mm, 12-14mm, 15-17mm, 16-19mm.
  • 1/4 drive ratchet with 4" extension, hexagonal 8 - 10 - 13 -16,
  • Torx 25 - 30 - 40,
  • Allen 4 - 6 - 8 and Philips #2
  • Long nose Vise-Grip
  • Spring hook tool

We had a scratcher break out on a ride a couple years ago. We weren't equipped to remove the scratcher from the rail to keep it from digging into the track. Fortunately another guy had an oversized Crescent wrench. Back to the workbench to figure out a solution. Since we carry a 3/8" ratchet, this works well. The guy that broke his used to be a Snap-On sales guy at one point so I gussied up his tool with "Snap-Off" SBG (scratcher be gone).
I second the tool roll, but having a small zippered pouch to hold loose items is helpful too.

I get lots of questions about ‘What tools should I carry?’ @polarissnow has a really nice tool kit that covers just about everything that I’ve been putting together individually for years. Comes in a nice organized roll-up bag with some extra space if you would like to add anything else. Shoot me a message if you have any questions or may be looking to get one👍🏻

Kit includes:
-telescoping magnet
-8” adjustable wrench
-10mm, 13mm, 15mm, 16mm, 17mm, 3/8” & 7/16” combination wrenches
-6 in 1 screwdriver
-5” locking pliers
-6” needle nose pliers w/wire cutters
-shock spanner tool
-mechanics wire, 6” zip ties & 8” zip ties
-T40 torx, 10mm allen & 1/8” allen
-travel duct tape roll and medium thread locker mini tube

Do you have the part number?

I'd like to recommend it to some guys who carry nothing.

I’m not sure why Caleb recommends 1/2” and 9/16” end wrenches.
Only 1/2” that I can remember are ski toes and wear bars. 13mm are good enough on the mtn.

Can’t think of a use for 9/16”.

What am I missing?

By way of reminder. Sometimes you can get away with a metric wrench on a SAE bolt or vice versa.

I use 7/16 & 11mm and 5/8 & 16mm interchangeably.
I use 13mm on 1/2” and 10mm on 3/8” in a pinch.

3/8” = 9.5mm
7/16” = 11.1mm
1/2” = 12.7mm
9/16” = 14.3mm
5/8” = 15.9mm

Polaris still using standard on these sleds is so silly.
