Check out these knee pads for the Pro chassis. Makes trail riding and hitting the rough trails more confortable. I got mine at Atkinson's Upholstery 435-753-4936. Talk to Shawn.

Or better yet.....stay off the trails. Ride through the trees. Wait scratch that. Stay on the trails, with your knee pads, and leave the snow in the tress alone for me!
JK, couldn't resist due to my extreme contempt for riding trails.

These are 1 to 1.5 inch pads, I love the way they feell running down the trail or boondocking. IMO.

first off they block the best place on the sled for extra vents, second they look horrible, I just wear my mx knee pads.

I don't sit so my knees never touch. :-)
I never sit either, and I love to jump, trust me, when you're hucking 100+ footers or big drops or boondocking you're knees take a beating. My knees have bruises all winter. They actually would be pretty nice. Just saying..

another vote for the knee/shin gaurds, gives better protection especially from those shin eating rails...

kestrel, i too am a trail hater, even when i'm on one i'm usually banging the side and always looking for a place to leave it behind:)

Or wear knee/shin guards that will protect you even more, on or off the sled.

Agreed. After you ride with them you will never go back. I notice them off just loading into the trailer.

My Klim and Event bibs have knee pads built in. Problem solved.

I thought that too and everyone says it but its nothing like the protection from shin guards.

I don't have this exact brand, but they look the same. They don't bother me a bit, and won't ride without them.

If you're hitting 100+' gaps and whatnot, without protective gear, youre crazy. I wear EVS R7 Knee/Shin Braces/Guards, and a SixOneSix Ballistic jersey, everytime I ride. I like to go big, but I like getting back to the trailer w/o being broken too. I gotta agree with the comment on covering a very good spot to vent the Pro chassis, also. I have the Holz Vents that take up that area, and think that those combined with a couple vent in front (Shock Tower area) make a very direct channel for air to flow through the sled.

Very good point. I never ride without a tekvest, and I actually did order those exact knee/shin guards last week. I do want a neck brace, but those things are so expensive!
