Multi-Function Display quit working

I have a 2011 Pro, and my MFD quit working, i was riding and the next thing i know i look down and my display has shut off. At first when i turned the handlebars to the right it would start working again, indicating to me that there was a loose wire or a wire that was grounding to the frame. When it did work the low battery light was on, but the starter pops right off no problem. Then it completely quit working and i have yet to find a loose wire. Every now and again the check engine light comes on but then goes off. When i get a chance im gonna take it to the dealer, but i thought id post this problem and see if anyone else had the same issue in case it was something simple that im not seeing. HELP!!

Try some dielectric grease on the plug the goes to the back and the main one above the exhaust can.
Would not hurt to check the wire bundle down on the belt guard.

Water and electrical do not mix.

Did you check the connector AT the MFD?

Also... check for water at the ES sub harness... the CAN-BUS hi/lo wires are in there as well.

Check the ECU harness at the ECU for water and tightness.

Last, check the hood to main harness connector.
