Anybody want some? PM me how long and I'll bring it to the Snow Show. All I ask is $1 for each 10'.

Now, I gotta get back to untangling. LOL!

Just make it easy.

Right now I am cutting 50' and 100' lengths. Man, you can put 100' in your pack and not even know it's there.

What tensile strength do you have

If I remember correctly you want at least 2000 lb tensile and would probably still double it up.

One box is 1250 lbs rated. The other box is 2000 lbs rated.

Just for sh*ts and giggles, I hooked the ATV to the mini van and towed the wife around the block, not doubled up. If you double up a 100' length to tow a sled I'd bet that's more than enough strength. You can also make a stretcher, cot or a good lean-to in the backcountry if things got bad, God forbid.

I'm tossing a 100' in each ATV, each sled and my hunting pack.

Where's the video? It's summer we need entertainment!

Oh and sign me up for 100'

sounds strong enough

A better test would be putting the atv in gear and locking up the breaks....then drag it around the block. That should simulate a deep tow out from 54!

LMAO! I broke a crank at the bottom of 54. There is an easy way out of that place, just a long pull and we just had a nylon rope but it got done, I still have that rope too. I dunno, but I think a car still outweighs a sled by a couple.

Sign me up for a hundy! thanks. Towed two sleds out the bottom of 54 the last few years. Mine and Boston Racing's.

It's what is used to pull wire threw conduite or innerduct for fiber optics. It's thin, light, super strong for it's size and is designed to have a very low friction rating so it does not burn things too bad if it rubs over it. It packs small for the the length.

It's a webbing that's any were from 1/2-1" wide, a 3/4" piece averages around 2K pull strength.

I throw away thousands of feet of this stuff every month... never even thought about putting it in my sled pack. I have a bunch balled up in a box in the garage.

I dunno. Never looked at amazon. Just know what the price is here at the hardware store so I cut what I was asking to a fraction of that. They were asking $1 per foot. I was just gonna give the $ to the kiddo for him to pay for a video game that he wants. I'm having him help me untangle and cut. Good job for a kid. Certainly wasn't out to steal from anybody.

Why is it always like this on here? Someone gets his hands on something useful and decides to share it with the group and someone else comes along to whizz on his parade.

I don't think PJ is ripping anyone off here. He should be able to make a reasonable profit off of this. He is the one who located the tape, untangle it, cut to length, and offered to ship it out. I know amazon has it for less but they have everything for less. Wouldn't it be easier to let a guy do his thing and go buy it cheaper if you had to have it for $5 less?

I guess what it amounts to is every year someone gets shredded for trying to sell something useful around here. Snowmobilers can be some of the cheapest people around. SMDH
