Muff put and Tripple Pipes ??

Quick question, picked up another sled, 98 SRX, with the triple pipes and wanting to attach a muffpot to it. Would running it just on the center pipe cause too much heat build up (or loss) that it would cause damage to the motor or cause the jetting to be improper?

Should be fine. I used one on my MtMax with tripple pipes. Mounted it on the center pipe and it worked great. Eric

Thanks, I was running in on a MM but had the stock pipe and ran it right after the W and it warmed up great. Going to place it on the bend of the center pipe at the front of the hood. Might take a little longer to warm up. I wasn't sure how finiky the tripple pipes were and if the muffpot would cause it to get too warm, or to dispense too much heat cooling the pipe off.
