Mtx weights to magnum force weights rpm loss

I have a 2017 800 axys 155 rmk with a slp stage 2. I had mtx weights and blue/red slp spring setup for 3000’-6000’ (68 gram base with 3 gram rivet in heel. 1 gram rivet in tip). I was hitting 8400 consistently and 8500 on setup snow, i switched to magnum force weights (40-150 kit) and i cannot pull more than 8200 rpm even when i remove set screws. I started out with 5 screws and a lock screw, i dropped to 3 set screws and a lock with minimal rpm change. most of the time im around 7950-8100 rpm whereas with the mtx weights id be 8350-8500. I switched weights while i was on the hill to see if the it was a motor mount/belt/power issue, rpm came back to 8350-8500, Is there anything else i should check? Belt deflection was polaris spec (1.25”) it has a Stock 40 helix and black spring in the secondary

Pretty normal.

mtx run super heavy for how hard they shift. (Also back shift terrible)
Hey thanks for the quick reply, how do i get my rpm back up to 8300-8400? I set it up according to slp’s sheet but it runs around 8k rpm. Would excessive belt to sheave clearance affect peak rpm?

i would do a quick inspection of motor mounts, belt health, deflection, primary rollers. (I found the mtx to mask some of those inefficiency’s and still pull rpm)
But have low trackspeed.

other than that a fresh set of springs (or try blue pink primary/ blk purple secondary)

ok sounds good thanks! Motor mounts have the slightest amount of movement so that might be it, deflection is set, rollers seemed alright, belt has 300 miles on it and looks new, blue-red primary spring has 300 miles on it
