mtntk fix

hi guys i have a 13 pro just put the mtntk fix kit in my sled. question is do i have to run a fuel controller with this set up. was looking at the rktec and he recomends one just wondering if i have to with this kit. also, do have to run on if i use my PAR 13:1 head and mbrp can? i ride 2000-8000 feet.

Fix kit adds no extra need for a fuel controller, the high comp head probably will.... depending on elevation and fuel.
I have 700 miles on my fix kit running pump premium on the eth setting... she even gets a small drink of eth fuel from time to time. Never had a single det.

My buddy has a 13 with a fix kit and a 13.6 PA head runs 50/50 av gas premium 3500-8000 feet with no fuel controler and no issues

I believe the 13s are a little lean to start with now you pump up compression and you might hit det . I run a 11 with a PA 13/1 head and MTNTK kit and hit det so this year I went to a Dobeck Gen 4 controller and a slp pipe . Brad likes a PCV .
Best thing to do is plug and piston wash inspection that will tell you if you need one.
