Just picked up an axys 16 rmk 155. Had a mtntk blowhole on my pro and it worked awesome just wondering if anyone has run one on an axys. Or should I just get some WRP vents for $99 and safe myself some money. Or should I even bother at all. Thanks again guys!

highly recommend the blow hole. I ran one on my 16 and put one on my 17. If you havent looked into it yet, they vent out the side panel on the axys.

Does the blowhole help evacuate belt dust and exhaust pipe insulation fibers?
Awesome thank you, the system I had on my pro had a vent on the quick drive side but the axys one doesn't? Should a guy add a few vents over there or not worry about it?
Yes, clutches/engine bay do stay cleaner. Eric
They do offer a vent for the Quick Drive side that matches the vent you install on the clutch side. Personally I dont run that vent. I want the fan to pull outside air from the stock hood vents and NOT try and pull air from the hot exhaust side. Eric

I just looked and there currently isnt any axys kits on there. They may have stopped selling them on there. this post was started a year ago.
I've got a 2011 assault out in the shop with the blow hole installed, it's amazing just how much air that thing blows out the vent at idle and it probably increases as rpm increase. I will buy one for my 12 pro for sure.
I personally did like the Blow hole on the RMK Pro MUCH better than the Axys-
On the Axys, it has a 90* bend to come out the side panel instead of the LONG
straight vacuum draw tube that would funnel more air on the 12-15's Pro RMK
It's much nicer on the knee for sure on the Axys- but every bend, reduces air flow significantly.
I pulled mine -and not reallyany clutch heat difference... must be the spot on TRS clutching that works so well..IMHO!!

Maybe so but for any warm air that comes out cool air is coming in, most people that have the blow holes seem to like them. To each their own I guess.
