Mt. Watson

We ride Soapstone alot and have been looking at the maps of the Uintas. . Mt Watson rea looks interesting. Has anyone ridden the area? What is the riding like? What is the best way to access?

Yup. I ride it all the time. Watson/ Haystack/ Reids/ Bald and the entire Lakes region is great. there are some trick ways into it and we can always find untracked in there. there are a lot of lakes and safe areas to play in. We go in at Trial Lake and back in a couple of different ways. Sled_guy also knows it well. I always suggest others go there and check it out. Lots of riding and very few peeps. awesome scenery too. the road ride up to Trail Lake is 12 miles of groomed boredom but worth the effort.

Thanks for the info -- going up today -- we love riding the Unitas winter and summer, always looking for new places to explore, hope to meet up with some of you sometime.
