Mt St Helen's ride Sunday 3/2/08

Best ride of the year! Got up to about 8000ft next to the big lava chutte. Was shaking with the rush of climbing up that mt. View was incredible! The only bad part of the day was the ride down. The road hasn't been plowed, and I guess hasn't for a month. You have to launch right where you turn left off the main road. So, you end up with a nine mile *** beating just to get to the cabin where your suppose to launch from!!! Anyone know when they are going to (or if) plow the road to the snow park?

Out of money,no plowing until next season. Nice day to ride Saint Helens.

i dont know whats going on.. they recently plowed curly creek rd. and wind river hwy to lone butte, why cant they get helens open?

last time i was up there, there was already bare patches on the road(83)...

and did you make it to the summit Tazz?

Got about to 7500'. had my son with me and couldn't go any higher with him on the sled without heat from the wife! lol it was an awesome day and could have easily if i were solo!
