Mt St Helens on New Years

thinking about heading to the volcano this week or weekend,

wondering if anyone else is....

last year we tried on jan. 1st and there was no where to park (FULL) at cougar snopark and Marble Mt. snopark... so we're gunna try either the 31st-1st or 2nd or this weekend.

Its lookin' like we're boondockin' saturday, just not sure if its helens or lone butte..

Anyone been up there the last couple days?? Snow conditions ?? DEEP pow???(Yes I know marble mt. Snopark is closed right now)

I think you better check your snotel site's. Says Marble and Cougar are closed due to heavy snow and what else? broke down equipment. NICE!
