I just got this email. I've also been aware of the crap the Greenies are pulling with Tester behind closed doors, so we are not being represented. I really want to support SAWS in this. If any links or email links don't work, please PM me so I get the email notification as I may not check this post for awhile. My husband and I checked the maps and they want to take away a LOT of good riding area. SAWS is making it really easy for us to make a big impact.

It is time for all interested in retaining public land for multiple-use including snowmobiling and other forms of motorized and mechanized recreation to act now.
A number of supporters of Montana based organizations including Citizens for Balanced Use, Families for Outdoor Recreation, Montana Trail Vehicle Riders Association,Montana Snowmobile Association, and Montana 4X4 Association have come together to place a paid "pro access to public land" informational item in newspapers across the state of Montana soon. This item is in response to efforts by conservation and timber groups promoting new Montana wilderness designation through Congressional action in addition to what is being recommended in current Montana forest plan revisions and decisions.
(One article that shows the level of promoting such efforts is available by clicking on the link)

You can become involved by including your name, your business name or organization to be included with the news release item.
Simply stated the news release information will inform the public of a significant fact. Not all people are in favor of the current Montana wilderness promoting efforts taking place, one of which is the Beaverhead DeerLodge partnership. The item will also mention that the majority of forest users were left out of the Beaverhead Deerlodge partnership plan designating 573,000 acres of wilderness that has been presented to our Montana Senators and Representative. A listing of names of individuals, businesses and groups representing those that were left out of this wilderness promoting effort will appear in the item. The public will be encouraged to become educated about other methods to provide for active practical management and permanently protect the forest\public land resource that is so valuable to all of us.
If you would like your name, the name of your business or your organization included, please send me a response by Friday, March 20, if possible.
If anyone wants to make a contribution to help pay for the ad send to CBU, 606 Gallatin Gateway, MT 59730. CBU is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Your donation will be fully tax deductable.
Those of us involved with this endavor want to thank everyone for your continued support and to all who have done so much to help us in this fight in preserving our public lands for everyone to use.
Thank you,
